Eastern Industrial Zone
Eastern Industrial Zone (EIZ) in Africa is a national-level overseas economic and trade cooperation zone invested and constructed by China in Ethiopia. It is primarily developed by Jiangsu Yongyuan Investment Co., Ltd. and located in Dukem City near Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia. Established Time: launched in 2007, officially operational in 2010. Area: ~5km² (~4km² developed). Positioning: focused on manufacturing, covering industries such as building materials, textiles, automotive assembly and food processing.
