Republic of Zimbabwe

The Republic of Zimbabwe, formerly Rhodesia (pre-1980) and abbreviated as Zimbabwe, is a landlocked country in southeastern Africa covering 390,000 square kilometers; and divided into 10 provinces, with Harare as the capital, and a population of 15.3 million [23], predominantly Shona (84.5%) and Ndebele (14.9%).

Zimbabwe is one of Africa's more industrialized countries, with manufacturing, agriculture and mining as its economic pillars. Renowned for its high-quality crocodile leather, Zimbabwe is often called the "Home of Crocodiles". The Country is rich in natural resources with a solid industrial and agricultural foundation. Zimbabwe’s nominal GDP in 2022 was $25 billion, with a real economic growth rate of 3.4% and per capita GDP of $1,634.
