On April 21, the promotion conference for the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo was held in Guangzhou. The Event is designed to facilitate precise connection between Hunan and Guangdong enterprises and African market to warm up and empower the Expo to be held in Changsha this June.


The 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha from June 12 to 15, with exhibitor invitation currently in the final sprint phase. Hunan and Guangdong are leveraging "dual-port synergy and dual-zone coordination" to guide more Chinese enterprises into the African market via the China-Africa economic and trade platform.


At the event, representatives from organizations such as the Africa Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong New South Group, Arise IIP and Kenya Airways shared valuable practical insights and market information with attending enterprises. Their discussions covered topics including the achievement of Chambers of Commerce in promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation, corporate investment experiences in African market and exploration of new opportunities for China-Africa collaboration.


"Guangdong will leverage platforms such as the Canton Fair and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo to expand trade with Africa, import high-quality African products, and encourage enterprises to invest in Africa," said Huang Xin, Deputy Inspector of Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce. He added that in the future, efforts will be further intensified to promote coordinated development between Guangdong Pilot FTZ, Hunan Pilot FTZ and the China-Africa Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone.
